For Assets/ Facility Managers

Using advanced technology and resources, BIMAGE takes on an innovative approach to support companies in designing and constructing buildings and infrastructures.

Building owners, developers, and facilities managers are implementing BIM on projects to generate significant savings on total operating costs over the life of the building. Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) is closely associated with BIM approaches to capture and record important project data at the point of origin, including equipment lists, product data sheets, warranties, spare parts lists, and preventive maintenance schedules.

BIMAGE assists owners and facilities managers in understanding how BIM is able to preserve, manage and utilize the information that is essential to support operations, maintenance and asset management once the built asset is in service.

Contractors who need to do quality work surveys and improve the model during as-built can achieve this by doing as-built model updates and on-site verification.

This service requires BIM As-built Consultants to evaluate and provide improvement advisories to the client’s BIM team and gain an important in-depth understanding of quality as-built BIM works for submission.

Cross-checking the FM information in the BIM models from various projects against the Owner’s requirements and ensuring a high standard of BIM Quality to be passed to the Owner.

FM software integration with FM BIM models by liaising with FM software providers and technical set up of the BIM models to match the requirements for integration.

Documentation of the whole process for future references.

Training catered to the Owner’s FM team to build up the BIM capability in understanding the BIM models received from the as-built projects and use it effectively for operations and maintenance.

Training to ensure the Owner’s project team is capable to make quality checks on the BIM modes that are done by the Consultants and Contractors of the project. This could include as-built BIM models’ acceptance check.

Computational BIM training to further value-add and effectively add-on to BIM for increased productivity and extend the limits of BIM authoring software.

Model development for existing buildings that might only have CAD, PDF drawings or sometimes, none for older buildings. Laser scan can be used to develop models with great accuracy from as-built site conditions.
